On Monday evening May 6th, LFC Firefighter Tom Lieberher was awarded Firefighter of the Year at the East Lampeter Township Board of Supervisors Meeting.
Tom has been in the fire service for 12.5 years. He came to us in 2016 from Garden Spot Fire Rescue where he currently holds active membership. He started as a daytime responder from his employer. Eventually, Tom and his family moved into the area and is now with us full time. In the three years Tom has been with the LFC, he has moved quickly through his rookie check-offs and is a driver of all of our apparatus. He was recently elected to a position on our Board of Directors. Tom is frequently one of our most active firefighters and is often at the station any time there is a training or a detail happening. Tom has also held membership with Gap Fire Rescue.
We are very proud of Tom’s accomplishments and we are thankful for his continued dedication and service to our company and community. Please join us in congratulating him on this well-deserved award!
