The featured photos are from the vehicle accident with confinement on Monday evening. Medic 600 was responding to another call and came across this crash just after it happened. Multiple EMS units were needed for several injuries. Engine 63-1’s crew used the hydraulic rescue tools to “pop” open the passenger side door of the red vehicle to gain access to an injured patient. Additional crews from both squads assisted with debris removal and hazard control. Station 63 Fire Police directed traffic around the crash scene.
